WILDCAT PINK OUT

OUR GOAL:

To raise over $5,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness by October 29th!

4th Annual Pink Out — 4 Weeks of Purpose & Pink!

This October, NMS is going all in for awareness, support, and strength. Why do we Pink Out? Because breast cancer has touched the lives of many in our NMS family — including several current staff members — and we honor the memory of one of our own who bravely fought this battle.

Each year, we come together not only to raise awareness, but to support each other and our wider community. All funds raised through the Pink Out Store and donations will go to TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, a local organization supporting both women and men in their journey to recovery.

🏆 The homeroom in each grade level with the highest participation will be announced on 10/29 and win a prize! Tie-breakers will be based on the amount fundraised.

Students will show their hearts through:
✍️ Creating powerful Pink Out posters
💌 Writing thoughtful letters to breast cancer survivors

⸻🎉 Week 4: PINK OUT DAY — October 29!
Dress head-to-toe in PINK to show your support and stand with those affected.
🏆 Winning homerooms get PINK OUT DONUT PARTY — and if we hit our goals, who knows what surprise challenge we can get Principal Q to take on!

OUR INSPIRATION:

Students & Staff will create a WILDCAT PINK RIBBON WALL BANNER in honor, in support and in memory of those touched by Breast Cancer in our community. In addition, students will write letters of encouragement to those currently fighting breast cancer and those letters will be distributed to survivors and fighters of breast cancer locally. This year we will partner with Turning Point Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, a local organization based in the Atlanta area. All proceeds and monies raised for this charity will be dedicated in honor, in support and in memory of those who have battled and are currently fighting breast cancer within our Wildcat community.

TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, is a unique nonprofit in metro Atlanta, supporting breast cancer patients of all backgrounds in their respective battles with breast cancer, helping them feel better faster, return to activities they enjoyed prior to their breast cancer diagnosis, treatments, and any surgeries, and ultimately, becoming cancer free. TurningPoint is the only organization of its kind in the Southeast and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.  Visit their website to learn more about TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and their impact on the lives of survivors in our area. 

TOGETHER WE CAN RAISE AWARENESS!

100% of proceeds from The Wildcat Store including t-shirts, hats, glasses and beads, pins, bandanas, tutu sets as well as the Dainty Ribbon, Heart and Confetti bracelets generously created and provided by Flamingo Accessories will go directly to Pink Out!

All monetary donations made to Pink Out will go directly to Turning Point Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. 

New this year, we are thankful to partner with GingerUp who will be donating 25% of proceeds to The Wildcat Pink Out from their custom Pink Out jewelry and accessories made especially for The Wildcat Pink Out.  All items are available below.
