Question: what makes going back to school a little better? 

Answer: Happy, positive messages written along your path into the building.  

Our wonderful teachers head back to school on Monday, August 3rd.  We want to start their days on the right foot by filling the walkways with chalk drawings and happy notes they can read as they head into NMS for the start of the new school year.

We are looking for as many families as possible to help us

SECRETLY & LOVINGLY 'graffiti' the sidewalks. 

Since teachers enter through various doors, we hope to cover the sidewalks by the main entrance, carpool line, Fine Arts hall, back patio, back doors by the basketball court -- any and all sidewalks leading to a door to the building.

If you can help, please grab some chalk and drop by the school any time on Sunday, August 2nd and find a spot.  We simply ask you to follow these few guidelines:

~ Be respectful of others' art work by walking around it

~ Keep messages generalized (no shout-outs to specific teachers)

~ Please social distance while creating your masterpiece; there are PLENTY of areas to cover

~ Create positive, kind messages

~ Please do NOT post / tweet / share any photos before 9am on Monday, 8/3; we want this to be a surprise for our teachers.
